Hello everyone, this may be a stupid question but I cannot work out how to activate remote desktop service on the new windows server We have installed Windows Server Datacenter on a powerful machine to use as a test lab environment, we chose datacenter because has unlimited Datacented so we can install several virtual machine for testing purposes.
The problem that we have encounter, is that we windows server 2012 datacenter remote desktop free work out how to remote zerver this machine from another computer on the network like you normally do via the Remote Desktop Connection. The machine is setup with 2 network cards windoww dedicated for the hyper-v and the other left normal as recommended during the hyper-v role installation for remote access purposes. The machine can connect to the internet and see all other devices and workstations on the network and can access shared drives etc.
We have tried to add the remote access role, it is installed but it windows server 2012 datacenter remote desktop free not run. So again it may just be a simple answer has anyone know how to set it up correctly or what is required?
